Hi Con, I wouldn't worry about trying to enter the lat long data. Don't know about the tech aspects the hows and whys of of what works or not, but I suggest just clicking on the map and zooming in to the correct location, then clicking on this location on the map. I've given up on what happens in the background but this does put my sightings at the right locations. Perhaps give me your email address and I can send you some screen shots if this is still unclear.
