Author's notes

In post-fire regrowth on cliff top, 7 months after a moderate intensity fire. This species usually seems to pop up after disturbance, generally fire, or post-drought (seen the latter once in this general area, although there had also been a fire approach fairly close to where the plants were growing, so there could have been some effect from smoke as well). It is an ephemeral, though I never manage to get back into the burnt areas soon enough to see how long it persists.
