Author's notes

This little beauty hopped about for several minutes, so I managed to get some clear shots. Jenny Edwards suggests an alternative ID is: Eastern white-barred three fin Vauclusella annulata(from Hutchins & Swainston), but we have this one on our list, called a Black-cheek threefin by Kuiter, but with the same latin name. I'm interested to know if anyone else from this area has any comments?

This species looks really similar to the images on the Australian Museum site for Enneapterygius atrogulare. It appears that Vauclusella annulata is the synonym for Enneapterygius atrogulare.
