Author's notes

The stem with the flowers was between 125cm - 150cm high. Not sure whether there is enough information to identify this species.

Hmm, a Juncus species, with the flowers very immature, and not identifiable.

Ok, I will keep an eye on it an get a photograph of the flowers.

Still won't help - they're a microscope job with a lot of teeth gnashing and swearing! But a better developed inflorescence could go up as Juncus sp.
