Author's notes

Flowers are held below the leaves, which form a dense clump (leaves about 1cm wide). Could also be Turkish Iris, I. lazica, but a search of images on the web suggests it is unguicularis. Flowers are lightly scented. May be an old planting, not truly naturalised.
