    Abundant along the river banks after a wildfire, which burnt right across the river. The crucial ID features are bracts 7-13, <25 florets per flower head, leaves and stems more or less hairless, basal leaves with triangular teeth and upper ones linear with rolled margins, plus the riparian habitat.
