I am not certain about this. The sticking point is that the stigma is two-lobed and the flowers are a bit small. I thought of gracilenta (annual) but that is usually in drier habitats.

Yep, that's a bit of an oddity. Maybe a gracilis x stricta hybrid? I wouldn't worry too much about the 2-fid style as I have a photo showing Wahl densifolia with one flower 2-fid and one 3-fid, so maybe the odd freak just occurs in that respect. Points in favour of stricta are the opposite, hairy foliage (though a bit on the narrow side) and the fact that the style does not appear to be constricted part way down its length. The main point against it is the smallish size of the flower (stricta is one of the larger flowered species) and the relatively short corolla tube below the petals - in those respects it is more like gracilis, but its flowers are usually more like 5mm across than 10. As it is not typical stricta I wouldn't leave it on the system identified as that - might have to go with Wahl sp.
