The flowering photo was taken on our neighbour's place nearyb, where cattle grazing is keeping the plants at an earlier stage of development. In our grazing-free orchard, the plants have been going crazy since it started raining again, and are the most robust I have ever seen them, and numerous - closer to 1000 than 100 in the orchard where we had burnt off the grass in July, then it stayed fairly bare for most of the summer. Also outside the yard where roo grazing pressure has suppressed the grass.
