Cap to about 60 mm diameter; slimy, brown, smooth, almost flat. Gills white. Spore print white. (photo 2) Flesh white, no stain when broken. Smell none or faint. Stem about 80 mm long, 8 mm diameter.
Hi Teresa, The one I show upended was the best I could do with a bit of stick. They were growing out of a hard subsoil bank on the road verge. It was quite firmly rooted, but I can't see from the photo that I broke the root. I'll add a elevation view, but that wont do much good with the shank length.
