Author's notes
We found this poor little guy dead in a rat trap we had carelessly left set during the day, and thought we may as well put him to good use, as a good example of E. heatwolei colour patterns. The belly scales were a bit more yellow than the photo suggests, and the front edge of the tympanum is about half white and half black. Max tells me the black flecks on the upper lip are significant too.
