Author's notes
Growing round the edge of our much reduced dam. This species lacks a conspicuous basal rosette (unlike the more widespread C. erythraea) and its calyx lobes are nearly as long as the corolla tube (less than 2/3 as long in erythraea). Although this feature can be tricky - you have to look at an open flower, not one still in bud.
