two egg masses, one really large - perhaps from a large sea hare?

They are certainly colourful but I thought sea hares laid eggs in strings

I am not sure where we should put the egg masses, but we have been seeing these where there are sea hares, so we are assuming that's what they are - would love an expert opinion......... as we want to learn more about them.
