Eustrephus latifolius at Tathra, NSW - 26 Apr 2019

Identification history

Climber / Mistletoe Eustrephus latifolius 27 Apr 2019 JackieMiles

Author's notes

Fruiting at one year post-fire. It will have resprouted from the roots rather than germinating from seed, so has the advantage over obligate seeders of already having a well developed root system, hence the quick return to seed production. Most vines seem to resprout off the roots after fire.
