Author's notes

It's not clear to me whether this is actually the high altitude form described by David Jones as S. alticola, or the usual S. australis. It was growing at 930m elevation, so you'd expect alticola, but I couldn't find any decent description of the difference, and as both NSW and Vic Floras don't accept the split, I decided to leave it as S. australis. There are images on the web purporting to be one or the other but they all look much the same, and it's not possible to be certain they've been correctly identified either.
