This is going to be an Austrostipa (swollen white nodes, blue-ish leaf underside, long awns), but it won't be clear which one until the seed is ripe. We'd then need a close up shot of the seed showing whether the awn is kinked or curved, short, long or non-hairy.

Ok, I will keep an eye on it.

I have added a picture of the seed

I'm guessing A. mollis - do the hairs appear to spiral around the awn or are they evenly distributed around it? Can't quite make it out in the photo

If the image I just added doesn't help I will get another photograph next time I am there

Nope, too confusing with the shadow of the hairs behind the actual hairs. Maybe try a black background? and take note yourself of whether the long hairs on the awn appear to spiral or not. Thanks.

Added another image, the hairs on the awn are not spiralling

OK, so I think it is Austrostipa densiflora, which is allowed to have the leaf blade to 4.5mm wide and "weakly rolled" - other similar spp like mollis are tightly rolled, so densiflora looks closest (and I have seen it down here before). The awn looks curved rather than twice bent, but if you follow that lead in the key you get to things that only grow out west.
