With Plantnet, I have got it between Caladenia testacea and Caladenia hildae. The photos in the big orchid book show the lateral lobes of the labellum of both these species with stalked blobs. This plant has smooth lobes without teeth. VicFlora was no help.

Yep, I can't find anything in the DJ big book or Bishop that really fits. Cucullata looks closest in Bishop but is not supposed to be coastal. I'll email David Jones and suggest he has a look.

I revisited the description of Caladenia transitoria in Vicflora. It is very close to that, particularly the painting of the labellum. The only thing is I cannot see the purple stripes mentioned in the description in Steve's photos, but that may because of the angle of the photos. As Jackie said, it does not look like the photo in the big orchid book, which was from Bowral. Regional differences?
If it is this species, it mostly self-pollinates so would be rarely seen open.
