It lacks simple rusty hairs on the midvein on the back of the leaf, though it does not look much like P. elliptica. See note in Vicflora. https://vicflora.rbg.vic.gov.au/flora/taxon/7a97ed45-d597-4fe4-a662-a9581d48b9f4

Hi Betty, You're on the job early. This is something that Neville Walsh ID'd as pilifera, on the Brogo River a few years ago, though I would have to concede it does look quite like elliptica. And the RBG when I sent them a bit said it was Pom bodalla. But I think we can assume Neville knows best.

Oops, didn't see your comment. It does have simple rusty hairs on the midvein, just very fine and small and appressed so not very visible. What it does not have, and should, is petals (the flowers are bright yellow), but Neville still thought it was closest to pilifera of anything.
